Supporting Fellow Etsyers: All Things Handmade Mini Blog

There is a blog called All Things Handmade that has a "Mini Blog" where they post Etsy minis for Etsy sellers. They have categories to place minis in. Examples: Accessories, Art and Illustrations, Bath and Body, Candlemakers, etc. It is free to place your mini on their site.

They also have a links page where you can be added as long as you have a link to their site on your blog. The have buttons with code to use for linking to their blog.



The site is run by volunteers!

Etsy Purchase: Dried Organic Catnip

I found an Etsy Shop that sells organic catnip, Moonlit Herbals. I ordered some but haven't received the catnip yet.

It feels good to support a fellow Etsy seller!

Jerry Sleeping On My Sewing Table

I haven't been able to fill up Jerry's love tanks since I got back from my camping trip. He wants to be petted all the time. In the night time while I am sleeping, he bats my nose with one of his front paws to get me to pet him.


Today, while I was making two matching pillows to put in my Etsy Shop, Jerry took over the top of my sewing desk.

He loves to help me sew, and his favorite past time is stealing pins from the pincushion. So I have to keep the pincushion covered up with something or in a drawer.

Back From A Very Wet Camping Trip

The only days it did not rain while camping was on the day we arrived and the day we left. We still had a great time, though! We stayed at Stillwater State Park on Lake Groton.

Gone Camping

I will be camping for a week starting today! My extended family goes camping for one week every summer. There usually is about 20 of us. We always stay in state parks. We play games, hike, go on scavenger hunts, swim, snorkle, go kayaking, and sit around the campfire at night. We have SO much fun.

Coin Purse Hardware

I bought hardware from Mikkie.com to make coin purses. I was very happy with the transaction. The prices were the least expensive I could find and the shipping was reasonable. The two pictures are examples of what I have made with the hardware so far. The bottom coin purse is made with a flex frame.

Morris

Morris weighs 20 pounds. He is such a big cuddly cat. I've had him since he was 6 weeks old. He turned 7 in June.

Wallets

So far I've made four wallets. Two of them are for sale on Etsy. It takes me an entire day to make one. The time it takes to make them doesn't match up with the price I think they would sell at. Each time I made one, I was hoping it would take me less time, but that is not the case. I probably won't make any more.

Cat Stars Christmas Ornaments

I've been doing a lot of thinking about what things I will make to put in my Etsy shop for Christmas. I want to make Christmas stockings stuffed with toys for cats. That is a given, but I want to make other things also. So today I made a cat star ornament.
